About this program
Build your game with purpose. The HHS 15U Girls Training Program is designed for players who want to get faster, more confident, and more effective in every area of the ice.
Each week includes one on-ice skills session and one dedicated power skating session — a proven combination that develops both the tools and the engine to use them.
Who this is for: 15U girls players who want structured development and measurable improvement — whether you’re building toward high school hockey, moving up a level, or looking to create more impact in your current role.
What you get each week
1× On-Ice Skills
(Puck + Game Skills)
- Puck control under pressure (hands + feet together)
- Shooting mechanics and quick-release scoring habits
- Deception, change of pace, and puck protection
- Small-area skill games to transfer training to game situations
- Situational skills (entries, exits, wall play, timing, support)
1× Power Skating
(Speed + Edgework)
- Explosiveness and first-three-step quickness
- Acceleration, top-end speed, and efficient stride mechanics
- Edge control, balance, and agility for tighter turns and transitions
- Stronger stops/starts and more separation in open ice
- Body positioning and stability to win more puck battles
Developmental Focus Points
- Skating as a weapon: become harder to catch and harder to contain
- Confidence with the puck: make plays at speed, not just in drills
- Game transfer: skills that show up on Friday/Saturday, not just practice
- Compete habits: details, pace, and consistency that elevate your ceiling
- Growth mindset culture: positive, demanding, and team-first environment
