Women’s Forward Specific
Spring Training 2026
Program overview
Hawkeye Hockey Services is thrilled to announce our 7-week On-Ice Forward Training Program for the Spring of 2026. This program is designed to hone the skills required to become an elite forward in the world of Minnesota High School Hockey.
Instruction comes from Lead Instructor Brad Marshall alongside several current women’s collegiate coaches, who have been invited to be on the ice coordinating drills and giving instruction.
Why this program?
- Led by Brad Marshall — a former NCAA Division 3 coach for 20 years, with playing experience in the USHL and at the University of St. Thomas — Coach Marshall knows exactly what college programs are looking for in their recruits and has a track record of developing and advancing forwards to the next levels of the sport. He has played a pivotal role in helping players secure roster spots and excel in college hockey.
- How many times do you come back to the bench after an unproductive play only to be shunned for your decision-making? How many times do you come back after a productive play only to hear “Great job”? Too many times, coaches and scouts look at what a player can’t do. This program teaches forwards how to “operate in the green” — to be given the green light — so coaches and recruiters start looking at what you can do, and to be consistent and productive in any environment you play in.
- Guest coaches from women’s collegiate programs will be on the ice throughout the program: Bethel University, UW-Stevens Point, Lawrence University, and St. Olaf College.
