ABOUT HAWKS AAA

Twin Cities Metro  ·  2027 Season  ·  Hawkeye Hockey Services

Professional
Coaches. Under $3,000.

Hawks AAA is the only pathway program in Minnesota with staff who have played and coached at every level — junior hockey, NCAA, and professional — an 8-session development phase before the first team practice, and an NHLPA-certified agent for every family.

Express Interest
4 Teams — 2015 through 2018
8 Dev phase sessions before first practice
16 Guaranteed games — 4 tournaments
July Off — built for multi-sport athletes

Every Hawks AAA player completes a structured development block starting mid-April 2027 — before a single team practice. Two sessions per week. No other AAA program in Minnesota starts the season this way.

Sessions 1–3 · First Three Weeks of April
Power Skating
Edges, transitions, crossovers, and skating under pressure — led by Carey Tinkelenberg, triple master-rated skating coach and ISU Coach Developer who has trained coaches on six continents.
Sessions 4–8 · Late April through Early May
Position-Specific Work
Defensemen and forwards work in separate groups. D-zone reads, gap control, and pivots for defensemen. Net front, below-dot work, and offensive zone entries for forwards.

8 sessions of development before the first team practice.

No other program in Minnesota does this.

Played it. Coached it. Our staff has been at every level of the game. Nobody understands the pathway to the next level better.
