On-Ice Staff — Hawkeye Hockey Services
Lincoln Nguyen
Director of Hockey Operations · 20+ yrs coaching · NCAA D1 & D3 · USHL scout

Lincoln brings over 20 years of coaching and player development experience across youth, junior, collegiate, and professional levels. Having coached and evaluated athletes from youth hockey through the NCAA and USHL, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the skills, habits, and mindset required to succeed at each stage of a player’s development.

Lincoln’s coaching philosophy is centered on long-term athlete development through purposeful teaching, clear communication, and accountability. He believes players perform at their highest level when they understand not only what to do, but why they are doing it. By encouraging athletes to think critically, solve problems independently, and reflect on their performance, he helps develop confident, intelligent hockey players who can adapt and thrive in competitive environments.

Lincoln’s experience at every level of the game allows him to provide athletes with proven development strategies while preparing them for the next step in their hockey journey, whether that is youth hockey, high school, junior hockey, or college hockey.
